The hotel you recommended was clean, centrally located and perfect for everything we wanted to see in this beautiful city. We travelled in August and were pleasantly surprised that Venice wasn’t too crowded, with locals who were helpful and welcoming.
We had lots of plans and achieved every wish, including a gondola ride, a tour of the Bevilacqua velvet factory, the Guggenheim Collection, and many other historic and artistic sights.
When my feet gave out from walking thousands of steps a day, the local boats around the city were a welcome relief!
Although shattered, we had a wonderful time, and it was made all the more enjoyable knowing Sarah was looking after us – thank you, again.
